Basketball Recap: Ziggy Binitie Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Fideles Christian

Victory Baptist posted their closest win since January 9th on Friday. They skirted past the Fideles Christian Rangers 65-63. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warrior.

Victory Baptist got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ziggy Binitie out in front who posted 23 points along with five assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Myles Lewis-Taggart, who shot 40% from the field to rack up 21 points.

Several Rangers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isaac Fleck, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Shadburn, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards.

Victory Baptist's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Fideles Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Victory Baptist and Fideles Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Warrior see the court they'll take on Killian Hill Christian at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Fideles Christian, their break will end when they face The King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
