Softball Recap: White Oak Takes a Loss

White Oak and J.H. Rose squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but White Oak had to settle for second. They fell 9-6 to the Rampants. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Rampants: they've now lost three in a row.

Jenna Banks made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Sise, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

White Oak now has a losing record of 12-13. As for J.H. Rose, their victory bumped their record up to 17-7.

White Oak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for J.H. Rose, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Harnett Central on the 12th.
