Ida had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Monroe Trojans as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in September.

Ida never let Monroe on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-20, 25-23.

Ida's victory bumped their record up to 12-18-1. As for Monroe, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-16.

Ida wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Pine River Area on the 18th. As for Monroe, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Erie-Mason on the 18th.
