Softball Game Preview: Clarke County Eagles vs. Page County Panthers

Clarke County hasn't had much luck against Page County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m.

Friday just wasn't the day for Clarke County's offense. They lost 8-0 to Strasburg on Friday.

Meanwhile, Page County had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Generals a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Panthers have won three matchups by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Clarke County now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Page County, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
