Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greenfield-Central). They enjoyed a cozy 60-44 victory over the Richmond Red Devils on Tuesday. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 54-50 win the Red Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Greenfield-Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Abbey Malet, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Izzy Silcox, who went 6-for-11 en route to 13 points.

Greenfield-Central was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Greenfield-Central's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Richmond, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Greenfield-Central will head out to challenge Pendleton Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Cougars their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Richmond, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Muncie Central at 12:00 p.m. on the 29th.
