Sacred Heart had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Sterling on Monday. The Irish blew past the Jets 3-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory on October 2nd.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sacred Heart was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-11.

Hallie Jones paced Sacred Heart's offense, picking up ten kills. Jones got some help from Daycee Witt and her 13 assists. Witt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Sacred Heart is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-15 record this season. As for Sterling, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-25.

Sacred Heart has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Diller-Odell on the 28th. Sterling does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
