Baseball Recap: Buffalo Takes a Loss

Buffalo extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping them down to 8-6. They fell 6-2 to the Edina Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-0 loss last Wednesday.

Buffalo saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was TYSON MOORE, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

As for Edina, they pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games.

On Edina's side, they got a great performance from Ari Miller as he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Miller has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jackson McGrath, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Chase Bjorgaard was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

As of now, neither Buffalo nor Edina have any future games scheduled.
