After losing to Trinity Christian the last time they met, Central Fellowship Christian Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lancers came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 27-14 on Friday.

Carter Welch threw for 99 yards and one TD. Terrell Coley, Jr was his top target, picking up 85 receiving yards.

When it comes to explaining why Trinity Christian lost, don't look at Jakob Sahli. Despite the final result, he rushed for 145 yards while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Sahli also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing one fumble and making seven total tackles.

Central Fellowship Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Trinity Christian, they moved to 5-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Central Fellowship Christian Academy and Trinity Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Lancers see the field they'll take on Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Trinity Christian, their break will end when they face Southland Academy at 7:30 p.m. on the 10th.
