Rome is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 17-2 margin over Douglas County on Tuesday. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Wyatt Costlow, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brett Boden, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Costlow wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Rome kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Douglas County only managed four hits.

He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Paulding County is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 2-5 otherwise. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing 9.5 hits in those games compared to only 5.33 in the others. Rome's victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
