Basketball Recap: Westland Takes a Loss

Westland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Thomas Worthington CARDINALS 46-14. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 68-53 to them when the teams met back in December of 2014, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Westland's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Thomas Worthington, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-14.

Westland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 62-21 defeat against Hayes on the 14th. As for Thomas Worthington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-46 loss against Hilliard Darby on the 14th.
