Basketball Game Preview: Milton-Union Bulldogs vs. Bethel Bees

The Milton-Union Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Bethel Bees at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Milton-Union will be strutting in after a win while Bethel will be coming in after a defeat.

Milton-Union is coming into the contest on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight victories. They came out on top against Covington by a score of 45-37 on Tuesday.

Milton-Union's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Logan Keys led the charge by putting up ten points and seven rebounds. What's more, Keys also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Titus Copp, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Bethel has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were dealt a 64-23 loss at the hands of Northridge on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Bees can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 282nd, while the Polar Bears are ranked 120th).

Bethel's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Milton-Union, their win bumped their record up to 4-12.

Milton-Union came up short against Bethel in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 58-45. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bethel's Cameron Ahrens, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards.
