Baseball Recap: Sevier County Takes a Loss

Sevier County lost to William Blount back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Smoky Bears fell just short of the Governors by a score of 5-4.

Sevier County has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season. As for William Blount, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-11.

Sevier County has already played their next matchup, an 8-6 win against Mitchell on the 7th. As for William Blount, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-0 defeat against Heritage on the 8th.
