Basketball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Birmingham Patriots, falling 79-15. The match marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Birmingham got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kamora Coleman out in front who posted three points along with eight assists and eight steals. Coleman has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 20 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kayla Tanijiri, who had seven points and eight steals.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Birmingham, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 20-6.

Cleveland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Birmingham, they have already played their next game, an 81-50 win against Chatsworth on the 14th.
