After a string of four wins, Whitehall-Yearling's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Watterson Eagles. While losing is never fun, Whitehall-Yearling can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while Bishop Watterson are ranked 64th).

Whitehall-Yearling's loss dropped their record down to 9-8-1. As for Bishop Watterson, they pushed their record up to 11-5-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.
