Basketball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

If Hialeah Gardens wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Sports Leadership & Management, they should've done a better job of containing Ethan Taylor. Sports Leadership & Management took down the Hialeah Gardens Gladiators 67-53 on Tuesday thanks in part to Taylor, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 boards. Sports Leadership & Management is 4-2 when Taylor posts eight or more rebounds, but 6-7 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Franco Moreira, who posted nine points in addition to eight boards and three steals. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Hialeah Gardens' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sean Leon, who put up 25 points, and Robert Masis, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 boards. Masis is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last four games he's played. Alexander Masis was another key player, putting up eight points and eight assists.
