Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 14 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Ayden Pouncey, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, while Ocoee put up plenty of points last Friday, the same can't be said for Hudson. The Knights took their game with ease, bagging a 42-0 victory over the Cobras. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Knights' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Cobras are ranked 410th).

Winter Park better keep an eye on Jayden Safford. He was instrumental in Ocoee's win, rushing for 181 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. Safford showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 52 yards. Elijah Thomas did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 83 receiving yards.

Ocoee didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Casmean Jean. Kendric Cidel was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making six total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Ocoee pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.0 points over those games. As for Winter Park, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Winter Park strolled past Ocoee in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 31-15. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Knights' Jamarian Robinson, who rushed for 103 yards and one score on only 12 carries. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Wildcats to walk away with another win? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
