Volleyball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Comes Up Short

Lighthouse Christian lost against Murtaugh back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Red Devils.

Lighthouse Christian's offense was headlined by Courtney Gentert and Elsie Hagan, who picked up six kills apiece. They were helped by Reese Franklin and Kinsie McCoy, who contributed 12 assists each. Baylee Hagan controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lighthouse Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Murtaugh, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Lighthouse Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Murtaugh, they will face off against Hagerman at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
