Volleyball Recap: Colbert County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Colbert County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Russellville Golden Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-3.

Russellville found their leader in sophomore Erin Grimes, who had five digs and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Grimes.

Colbert County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Russellville, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 32-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colbert County will challenge Phil Campbell at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Russellville, they will face off against Rogers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
