Pearl is a perfect 3-0 against Jackson Prep since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Pirates are taking a road trip to challenge the Patriots at 10:00 a.m. Pearl knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Jackson Prep likes a good challenge.

Pearl took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 56-46 win over Clinton.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Jackson Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 55-44 to DeSoto Central.

Pearl's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Jackson Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Pearl was able to grind out a solid win over Jackson Prep in their previous meeting back in December of 2017, winning 56-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
