Softball Recap: Medina Comes Up Short

Medina was the 4-2 winner over Strongsville when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Battling Bees took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs on Monday. The Battling Bees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Katie Rubino was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

Medina's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Strongsville, their record now sits at 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Medina will head out to face off against Mentor at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Battling Bees surely won't give up without a fight. As for Strongsville, they will take on Brunswick at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
