Volleyball Recap: New Kent Takes Down Tabb in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only New Kent walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tabb Tigers on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on four straight.

New Kent's got stronger as the match went on, holding Tabb to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 25-11.

New Kent can attribute much of their success to Katelynn Moore, who had seven aces and four digs. Those seven aces gave Moore a new career-high.

Moore wasn't the only good servers: New Kent was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in four consecutive matchups.

New Kent's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Tabb, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 16-7.

As of now, neither New Kent nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
