Basketball Recap: Holly Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Holly had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Stanton County Trojans, falling 61-31. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Lillian Parker was Holly's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Parker also led the team in rebounds with eight.

Holly will challenge South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stanton County, they will head out to face off against Greeley County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
