Two dominant backs in Devaunh White and Jamir Jackson are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The West Rowan Falcons will challenge the Monroe Redhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as West Rowan comes in on three and Monroe on five.

West Rowan is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took down Southern Guilford 41-23. The Falcons pushed the score to 41-8 by the end of the third, a deficit the Storm cut but never quite recovered from.

Brant Graham was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 266 yards and four TDs while picking up 13.3 yards per attempt. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in November of 2024. Cooper Martin helped Graham out on the ground, rushing for 67 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries.

Meanwhile, Monroe never let their opponents score two weeks ago. They put the hurt on Forest Hills with a sharp 21-0 win. Considering the Redhawks have won four contests by more than 20 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

A big part of Monroe's victory came down to the chemistry between Brayden Graceffa and his top target Bryson Simpkins. Graceffa threw for 164 yards on eight of 17 attempts while Simpkins picked up 127 receiving yards and one touchdown. Simpkins also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making three total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending one pass.

One reason for the win was Monroe's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Carlos Flores was especially locked on to Forest Hills' QB and sacked him twice.

West Rowan's record is now 7-4. As for Monroe, their record now sits at 6-3.
