Weaver had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They really took it to ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-28 victory. The Beavers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Weaver's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kadain Claflin-Coy, who threw for 325 yards and six touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also rushed for 70 yards on only six carries. Those six passing touchdowns gave Claflin-Coy a new career-high. Weaver's leading receiver Jyiere Perry was Claflin-Coy's top target yet again, picking up 175 receiving yards and four scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Weaver was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 240 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 150 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.

Another reason for the win was Weaver's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Aden Brown was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. Johnathan Mitchell got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Weaver's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.5 points over those games. As for ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate], with the loss, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-3.

Coming up, Weaver will take on New Canaan at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Beavers will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
