The Lone Pine Golden Eagles had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.4 points), and they went ahead and made it 15 on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 64-15 win over Owens Valley at home. Lone Pine has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 21 points or more this season.
Leading Lone Pine to victory were Alfonso Castro and Cristian Duran. Castro dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds, while Duran almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. Castro is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Elijah Rodriguez, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Lone Pine pushed their record up to 16-3 with that victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Owens Valley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.

Owens Valley comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
