Basketball Recap: Brooks Debartolo Collegiate Piles Up the Points Against Seven Rivers Christian

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They claimed a resounding 81-26 victory over the Seven Rivers Christian Warriors. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Phoenix also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Samuel Jorden was nothing short of spectacular: he dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave him a new career-high. Kaiden Martin was another key player, going 8-for-14 on his way to 18 points and five rebounds.

The win got Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate back to even at 1-1. As for Seven Rivers Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate will square off against Plantation at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Seven Rivers Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Academy at the Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
