Football Recap: Spearman Falls Despite Big Games from Hudson Swan and Jailen Vasquez + How To Watch

Spearman and Cisco squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Spearman had to settle for second. They took a 28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Loboes. If the Lynx were looking for revenge after losing 41-17 to the Loboes when the teams met back in November of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Spearman had strong showings from Jailen Vasquez, who rushed for 92 yards and a pair of scores, and Hudson Swan, who gained 154 total yards.

Owen Kilpatrick was a one-man wrecking crew For Cisco. as he threw for 136 yards and two TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes.

Spearman's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Cisco, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Spearman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cisco, they will square off against West Texas at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
