Rancho Buena Vista hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Carlsbad Lancers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Longhorns have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Hailey Ahmed, who's now up to three this season.

Rancho Buena Vista's draw gives them a new season record of 7-0-3. Meanwhile, Carlsbad's record is now 4-6-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rancho Buena Vista will welcome Canyon Crest Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Carlsbad, they will be playing at home against Torrey Pines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Carlsbad's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
