If Holyoke wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Akron, they should've done a better job of containing Molly O'Neil. Everything went the Akron Rams' way against the Holyoke Dragons on Friday as the Akron Rams made off with a 33-13 win which was due in part to O'Neil, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 12 steals. Those 12 steals gave her a new career-high.

Ellie Kleve and Kinley Sporhase certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Kleve posted five points and ten rebounds, while Sporhase earned two points. Maggie Kleve also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Akron's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Holyoke, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.

Akron wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 56-31 win against Haxtun on the 1st. As for Holyoke, they have also already played their next contest, a 49-39 victory against Limon on the 1st.
