Comfort is 9-1 against Florence since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Comfort Bobcats/Deer will head out on the road to challenge the Florence Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. Comfort is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Comfort fell victim to Canyon Lake and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against Canyon Lake, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Bobcats/Deer have lost by exactly ten runs.

Meanwhile, Florence can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Connally 16-14. With that win, the Buffaloes brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Florence got a massive performance out of Terry Parker, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-5. With that strong performance, Parker is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was Weston Underwood, who scored two runs and stole Five bases. while going 3-for-4.

Parker wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Florence kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Florence now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Comfort, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Comfort beat Florence 9-5 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Does Comfort have another victory up their sleeve, or will Florence turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
