Volleyball Recap: Gordon Central Takes a Loss

Gordon Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Armuchee Indians. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Indians from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Gordon Central's offense was headlined by Kayden Poole and Kinsleigh Massingill, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Kendall Tucker and her three assists.

Gordon Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Armuchee, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Gordon Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Christian Heritage on the 11th. As for Armuchee, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Chattooga on the 16th.
