Baseball Recap: Duanesburg Gets the Win

Duanesburg saw some tournament action on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Coxsackie-Athens Indians. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly two runs.

Calvin Raymond was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI. Collin Lussier was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Duanesburg now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Coxsackie-Athens, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Duanesburg will welcome Galway at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Coxsackie-Athens, they will be playing at home against Taconic Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
