Basketball Recap: Wilson Has No Trouble Against Trinity Leadership

It was a proper cat-fight when Wilson faced off against Trinity Leadership on Friday. The Wilson Wildcats were the clear victor by a 45-25 margin over the Trinity Leadership Tigers.

Mia Yonker was the offensive standout of the matchup as she went 6 of 12 en route to 17 points and five rebounds. Those 17 points gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Howie, who posted nine points.

Wilson's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Trinity Leadership, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.

Wilson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 44-41 loss against Wilmer-Hutchins on the 27th. As for Trinity Leadership, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 39-37 win against South Oak Cliff on the 27th.
