Fieldcrest and Hall are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Fieldcrest hasn't scored more than a single run for five games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Friday just wasn't the day for Fieldcrest's offense. They lost 14-0 to Prairie Central on Friday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Hall was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against Erie-Prophetstown, falling 18-1.

Hall saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Delphi, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one RBI. Sydney Mautino also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Fieldcrest's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-21.

Fieldcrest suffered a grim 20-5 defeat to Hall in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
