Preview: St. David's Warriors vs. GRACE Christian Eagles
St. David's is 10-0 against GRACE Christian since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The St. David's Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the GRACE Christian Eagles at 5:30 p.m. St. David's will be strutting in after a win while GRACE Christian will be coming in after a loss.
Even though New Life Camp scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, St. David's still came out on top. St. David's walked away with a 64-55 win over New Life Camp. The victory was just what St. David's needed coming off of a 45-22 defeat in their prior matchup.
Eliza Everett was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of St. David's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Foster, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, GRACE Christian came up short against Thales Academy Apex on Tuesday and fell 48-36.
Cardinal Gibbons' victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while St. David's defeat dropped theirs to 2-3.
St. David's strolled past GRACE Christian in their previous matchup back in February by a score of 42-24. Does St. David's have another victory up their sleeve, or will GRACE Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
