Soccer Recap: Marsh Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Marsh Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sugar-Salem Diggers. That's two games in a row now that Marsh Valley have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Chance Smedley, who's now up to 14 this season.

Marsh Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-3. As for Sugar-Salem, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0-1.

Coming up, Marsh Valley will square off against Snake River at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sugar-Salem, they will take on Aberdeen at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Aberdeen's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
