Football Game Preview: Cedar Creek Cougars vs. St. Frederick Warriors + How To Watch

The Cedar Creek Cougars will challenge the St. Frederick Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Cedar Creek is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 46 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Jonesboro-Hodge on Friday. They were outmatched by the Tigers and fell 30-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between St. Frederick and Delta Charter, and Delta Charter kept the tradition alive. The Warriors fell just short of the Storm by a score of 32-29 on Friday. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Storm 15-8 in the first quarter.

Cedar Creek's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for St. Frederick, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-5.

Things could have been worse for Cedar Creek, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 30-14 loss to St. Frederick in their previous matchup back in November of 2023. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
