Basketball Game Preview: Williamsburg Wildcats vs. Georgetown G-Men

Williamsburg has gone 9-1 against Georgetown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wildcats will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against the G-Men at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Williamsburg is headed out to face Georgetown after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Wildcats blew past Clinton-Massie 61-39 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won three in a row.

Delaney Donohoo and Lucy Watts were among the main playmakers for Williamsburg as the former dropped a double-double with 13 points and 13 boards and the latter shot 64% from the field on her way to 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Those 13 rebounds gave Donohoo a new career-high. Addisyn Smith was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Georgetown took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 65-9 victory over Felicity-Franklin.

Williamsburg didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Georgetown in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 46-41 win.
