Volleyball Recap: East Rowan Takes a Loss

East Rowan and Carson squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but East Rowan had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 3-0. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12, 25-11.

Alli Corl paced East Rowan's offense, picking up nine kills. Corl got some help from Jacee Eudy and her 15 assists. Rylei Minton controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

East Rowan's loss dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Carson, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-3.

East Rowan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carson, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Franklin on the 25th.
