Volleyball Game Preview: Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds vs. Shiocton Chiefs

The Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds will take on the Shiocton Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Iola-Scandinavia: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Shiocton has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

On Thursday, Iola-Scandinavia didn't have quite enough to beat Rosholt and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Shiocton beat New Glarus 2-0 on Saturday.

Shiocton's win bumped their record up to 23-11. As for Iola-Scandinavia, their loss dropped their record down to 12-15.

Iola-Scandinavia came out on top in a nail-biter against Shiocton in their previous meeting two weeks ago, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Thunderbirds repeat their success, or do the Chiefs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
