With a playoff win on the line, Washington rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against the South Allegheny Gladiators as they made off with a 31-7 win. The result was nothing new for the Prexies, who have now won ten contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Despite the loss, South Allegheny still got an impressive performance from Derrick Pace, who rushed for 124 yards while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.

The victory made it two in a row for Washington and bumps their season record up to 10-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 15 points in those games. As for South Allegheny, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.

Coming up, Washington will challenge Seton LaSalle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Prexies 9.3, the Rebels 10.5) so any points scored will be well earned. South Allegheny does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
