Johnson County extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 3-7. They were outmatched by the Unicoi County Blue Devils and fell 55-22. The Longhorns lost against the Blue Devils in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 10-7 score last time.

Johnson County lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jonathan 'Jack' Csillag, who picked up 85 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also punched in one rushing score. Colton Grindstaff handled things on the ground, rushing for 94 yards and a rushing touchdown.

As for Unicoi County, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won six games by 21 points or more so far this season.
