Basketball Recap: Rhys Robinson and Kareem Alkhalifa Secure Win for Pinnacle

Pinnacle waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Williams Field Black Hawks 49-28.

Pinnacle was led to victory by Kareem Alkhalifa and Rhys Robinson. Alkhalifa shot 64% from the field en route to 16 points, while Robinson almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave Robinson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Petrick, who posted five points and three steals.

Pinnacle smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Pinnacle's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Williams Field, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Pinnacle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 56-54 loss against Centennial on the 29th. As for Williams Field, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-51 defeat against San Tan Charter on the 29th.
