It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cloverdale can now relate to. They fell just short of the Bethel Jaguars by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Cloverdale sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 24-26, 25-19, 21-25, 15-13.

Cloverdale's loss dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Bethel, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Cloverdale nor Bethel have any future games scheduled.
