Volleyball Recap: Tuscarawas Valley Wins Going Away Against Barnesville

Tuscarawas Valley won the last time they faced Barnesville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Trojans blew past the Shamrocks 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Leah Howard went supernova, getting 14 digs and two aces. What's more, she posted five assists, the most she's had over her last six contests. Kaylee Reeps also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Tuscarawas Valley's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Barnesville, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-14.

Coming up, Tuscarawas Valley will head out on the road to square off against Martins Ferry at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Barnesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
