After a string of six wins, Newton (Home School)'s good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Olathe Christian/Christ Prep Academy.

Newton (Home School)'s offense was headlined by Kasodi Schroeder and Hannah Hoelscher, who picked up three kills apiece. Schroeder really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with four.

Newton (Home School)'s defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.
