Soccer Game Preview: East Central vs. Stone + How To Watch

East Central is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will welcome the Stone Tomcats at 5:30 p.m. East Central is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

East Central will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating George County, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Hornets put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 4-1 win two weeks ago. Considering East Central have won three matchups by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit George County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Joleigh Whitley, Landry King, Lucy Myrick, and Addy Chavez.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Stone's offense. They fell just short of Pearl River Central by a score of 1-0 last Thursday.

Stone's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for East Central, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-3-1.

Everything went East Central's way against Stone in their previous meeting back in January, as East Central made off with a 4-1 win. Do the Hornets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tomcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
