Volleyball Recap: Saddleback Takes a Loss

Saddleback lost against Orange back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Roadrunners took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Roadrunners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Saddleback ultimately came up short, they really made Orange work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 19-25, 27-25, 25-21.

Orange can attribute much of their success to John Galmich, who had 34 assists. Those 34 assists gave Galmich a new career-high.

Saddleback's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Orange, their record now sits at 6-16.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saddleback will challenge Western at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Roadrunners surely won't give up without a fight. As for Orange, they will face off against Loara at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
