Hilliard Davidson had won four straight games and Logan Buck did his part to make it five on Thursday. The Wildcats came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Olentangy Liberty Patriots with plenty of help from Buck, who had 16 digs and two assists. He has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last five times he's played.

Hilliard Davidson wouldn't go down easily and took Olentangy Liberty into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-21, 25-13, 23-25, 16-14.

Despite the defeat, Olentangy Liberty had strong showings from Vihaan Soni, who had 20 digs and one assist, and Andrew Mulyadi, who had nine digs.

Hilliard Davidson's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7. As for Olentangy Liberty, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8.

Hilliard Davidson has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Thomas Worthington on the 26th. As for Olentangy Liberty, they are taking a road trip to challenge New Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
