Volleyball Recap: Frankfort Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Benzie Central last Wednesday, Frankfort came back down to earth. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Leland Comets on Monday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-21.

Ava Meyer paced Frankfort's offense, picking up seven kills. Meyer got some help from Alice Luther and her 17 assists. Luther and Meyer didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

Frankfort's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Leland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-17-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Frankfort will challenge rival Buckley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Leland is set to take on their familiar foe Onekama at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
